THE RUBY TEMPLE

The mixed scents of tobacco and perfume are the trademark of the Temple, a traditional irezumi studio & perfume parlour located in Kugane. The studio's main goal is to provide art, may it be through art done to one's skin or through enticing one's senses with exquisite notes and unique aromas.

Irezumi means inserting ink, while wabori is the employed style.The Temple's irezumi arts seek to express and enhance one's beauty with striking, remarkable reflections of the cultures from both Doma and Hingashi.Through the tebori, the bamboo stick, Minamoto no Rin applies traditional techniques to the customers in detailed line work and colorful designs.

Some traditional designs portray:

- the phoenix, a symbol of reincarnation, reborning anew, renewal.
- the koi fish, a symbol of luck, determination, ambition, perseverance, strength, resistance, vitality and success, for the koi is a fish that swims against the currents and the adversities to reach its destiny.
- the dragon, a symbol of generosity, wisdom and strength.
- the tiger, a symbol of courage and strength, said to protect and repel bad energies.
- the serpent, a symbol of wisdom and protection, also seen as a guardian against disaster, bad luck and illnesses.
- the skull, reflects life and death, also seen as a positive sign of end of cycles and renewals do bring changes.
- the oni, sometimes seen as a symbol of evil, chaos, disorder and destruction, but sometimes related to protection when it comes to a good oni representation, with most people tattoing them as a sign they're fighting inner demons.
- flowers, such as lotus, are a symbol of knowledge, ilumination and life, the sakura as a sign of one's mortality and chrysanthemums representing joy and perfection.

The art of a perfumer has long been an afterthought in the medicinal world, while the delights and sensations of the scents could not be of less importance.A man in shiny, golden scales seems to move effortlessly, lighting incense all the while as the aromas fill in your every pore.Whether it's for relaxation, invigoration, or to calm your nerves, Ueno no Gyosei is more than delighted to fufill every aromatic need.

The Ruby Temple is the place you're looking for. Bask under the dim lights of the mysterious setting the Studio has to offer you and experience what secrets Hingashi has to offer you.If you ever need some blade service, just leave a piece of paper with your name and your request written inside, right under the sake barrel. The Mamushi will tend to your wishes.We promise you no secrets told within these walls will ever leave the Temple.

1. The wabori must cover a broad area or an entire part of the customer's body. The colors must be clean, pure, bright and detailed.2. The wabori must contain symbols of Hingan or Doman culture.3. The irezumi must be done through traditional methods. No magitek, electrope or any kind of machine is allowed.4. No smoking or drinking is allowed while getting your body tattooed for safety and health measures. Please avoid bringing food to the perfume and tattoo area.5. We definitely won't provide services to minors.6. The Temple is under protection of the Yoasobi-kai family's territory. Please avoid violence within the studio's area.

1. You can definitely use the studio to gpose your character! NSFW lalafell gposes are strictly forbidden in the studio.2. The Ruby Temple doesn't offer court services, please respect the staff.3. Respect the staff and other customers.4. No weapons and minions allowed.5. No gil is required to roleplay a tattoo session or perfume order.
